World Homeopathy Awareness Week
10th April, 2008
Homeopaths and homeopathy supporters are joining forces this week in recognition of World Homeopathy Awareness Week (10 – 16th April 2008). This year’s theme is The Benefits of Homeopathy in Sports Medicine.
Homeopathic remedies have been found to be very effective in the treatment people with sports injuries. They can be used in many first aid situations including injuries i.e. bruising, strains and sprains. One of the most popular remedies for such symptoms is Arnica. Homeopathy can also be helpful for the treatment of symptoms of long-tem injuries. Numerous sports personalities have used homeopathic medicines including David Beckham, Martina Navratilova and Boris Becker.
Homeopathy is a natural and effective system of healing which assists the natural tendency of the body to heal itself. This system of medicine has been around for over 200 years.
The Galway College of Homeopathy can organise an introductory talk for any group or sports club interested in learning more about this area. They can be contacted on 091 776886 or admin@galwayhomeopathy.com.
